Hi guys it's been a wonderful week. I achieved a lot of things, like what? I build about 3 landing pages and did one Javascript mini project.
So Fridays are for weekly recap.... I'll just post links to the previous articles of what I learnt this week.
My thoughts on Bitcoin and crytpocurrencies
I watch few Andreas Aantonop videos on YouTube
My thoughts and opinions about Blockchain and crytpocurrencies began to )change recently. I began to understand that crypto and Blockchain has an in-depth complexity that can only be understood if only one is ready to sit back and LEARN...
๐ก Bitcoin is more that a currency, it's more than a Payment system or get rich quick scheme. It's the first manifestation of Blockchain, it's the disruptor of many industries and field. Bitcoin came to change old financial and traditional standards
๐ก Blockchain has potential to generate it's own trillion dollar economy because a lot of products are being deployed on different Blockchain platforms across different industries ( fintech, health, agricultural, Banking and finance, education, government and politics etc)
๐ก Blockchain has potentials of providing X2 of more jobs the internet economy created.
( These assumptions are theoretical and not based on any data).
On that note I would like to start a Blockchain & Crypto series called project BE Your BANK {ByB}; it's a series of access financial services without them and most importantly how Blockchain and crypto can serve as an alternative. Can we be own our bank? We will be exploring existing projects that offers same financial services that financial institutions offer and they're better, we will also look at risk attached to them. The reason I want to start this series is because I'm 17 years old and I don't have a credit card yet, the bank needs you to reach 18 before you can access financial services, there are times when I needed to this services but credit & age worthiness was the barrier. I have experienced frictions with bank transctions and I thought if how Crypto and Blockchain can change all of that. Though Blockchain and crypto space is still in early stage and some of these services may come with risks and frictions but what we are looking for is greater efficiency and lesser risks. Practically there's nothing as zero risk, we can only improve efficiency and minimize risk. I will give more details on this new series in tommorow's post and what you should expect.
